We are people open to new tastes... we were in St Charles IL wonderful place by the way and we found this small and cozy restaurant. very well received and excellent attitude from the waiter from the menu we chose dish 23 “chef 's recommendation” bad idea the food was overcooked bad experience. It is also quite expensive for the quantity and quality of the products used in this dish. Another thing, the atmosphere was bad because very loud music was playing from the kitchen... I 'm sure it was mexican music but not the good kind... Chicken mo mos were good and plentiful. Fried goat meat was hit or miss, some pieces were very soft and some were chewy, but excellently seasoned. Pudina lamb was very good with the taste of mint and soft pieces of lamb. The food here used to be a lot better. Tonight we ordered chicken tikka masala HOT, garlic naan, and samosas. The masala was not hot at all- I don’t think they even put any spice in whatsoever. It was also extremely creamy. It was like I was eating cream and rice. The naan was ok, but also pretty burnt. The samosas were very salty. I visited this restaurant for lunch and overall, my experience was mixed. The food was underwhelming, receiving a rating of 2 out of 5. However, the service was quite good, with a rating of 4. The atmosphere was decent but not exceptional, so I would give it a 3. While the service made the visit more pleasant, the food itself left much to be desired.
