Taste of the Himalayas

Really can't recommend Taste of the Himalayas - the service was not good, having to wait long times and ask repeatedly for menus and items. I was really ticked off that everyone at our table had to order the buffet meal - it was made quite clear that either everyone had the buffet, or everyone had a-la-carte, but not a mixture. Ordering a-la-carte was obviously not what the staff wanted, as we had to ask four times for menus, and then we were given just one for a table of nine. Having been virtually forced into the buffet, I was disappointed with the selections and food quality. In all honesty I have eaten better at the food court at the local Westfield. Absolutely loved our selection of take-away curries from Taste of the Himalayas.  All 4 curries we ordered were much lighter on the stomach and waistline than many Indian curries can be. Also enjoyed some momo's for entree (lovely Nepalese dumplings) and some very thin flat bread with spices grilled onto it. Truly can't complain - all the guests were very impressed reporting that Nepalese curries are more wonderful than imagined! I was also very impressed with how helpful staff were over the phone about selecting meals with allergies. Giving a one star because there is no option for less than that. Alu Bodi Tama Tarkari - $13.95 just threw it in the bin. Completely inedible sour taste. Might be authentic to Nepal but they need to warn people about the pungent vinegary sour tasting **** they charge so much for. Rest of the food was edible is all I can comment. Yuck! $50 for take away. Very overrated and overpriced. Tried once never again. ????????‍♀️

Amazing!! Was just great the four of us are in love. Great service with friendly staff and quick refills. Loved the paneer and roti. Decent priced beers place was packed on a Sunday night. Great Nepalese on a cold winters night.

Enjoyed a fantastic and authentic meal here. Everything was delicious but the duck was stand out spectacular. The service was attentive and helpful and the ambience was relaxed and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

We weren't sure when we first walked in as the décor was a little basic. My advice is to look past this. We found the service to be impeccable and the food tasty, full of fresh ingredients and nicely presented. Reserva una mesa ahora

what an amazing location service was brilliant. eating was absolutely amazing. 3 of us shared with escape, netzen and side. 2 had dessert. I can't wait to get back there, would highly recommend

Loved it, great service and food. Like a brilliant hybrid of Chinese/Indian. Decor a bit dated, but really clean so happy to overlook it. Would come again!
