This was my first time dining at Tellers next door chophouse. I came with my mother to celebrate her birthday and I was blown away by the incredible service. We made reservations for 8:45pm and arrived about 10 minutes early. We were greeted by a lovely hostess and wait time in the lobby area for about 3 min which was excellent. It was a busy night and dined in on the second floor which seemed more intimate than the main floor level. The food at Tellers was excellent. All members of the party had the 14 oz filet. It was cooked properly for each person's taste (medium rare, medium, etc. . Appetizers and sides were also excellent. We did not try the desserts since we were pretty stuffed after the main meal. Service was very good, although it seems like there is an attempt to be just a tad snooty, as if Tellers was a Michelin multi-Star restaurant. It is not, but it is a very good steakhouse on par with the best in NYC. I suspect it is meant to be part of the ambience. Party of 4 went for restaurant week. Burrata was excellent, very elevated! Bacon was good. Wagyu was dense, beef Wellington was just ok. Cocktails were weak. I had 3 of their special cosmopolitans and one special cucumber vodka drink- I barely felt a buzz. They shouldn't be watered down for $20 a pop! Ridiculous!! Brussel sprouts were AWFUL! Duck fries had no duck flavor at all! Desserts arrived frozen and lobster Mac n cheese was only slightly warm. We won't be back anytime soon. Soo loud and crowded, impossible to move my chair at the table, let alone have a conversation!!
Came to Tellers to celebrate our anniversary for the first time! Excellent atmosphere and our waitress, Stephanie was wonderful! Very knowledgeable on the menu and recommended some terrific dishes. We will definitely be back!

Tellers is hands down the best restaurant!! Not only for their food but exceptional service!! Everything was delicious from apps…dinner…dessert!! We will be coming back soon !!
