The reviews are a bit skewed for this place. We booked our wedding with Terra Laguna Beach (though I do understand that they are a restaurant during the arts festivals) I cannot say enough amazing things about using Terra as our venue. From the first tour to all consultations with our coordinator (Dulce-who was OUTSTANDING) and details meetings up to the big day, it was more than I imagined. The pricing was extremely reasonable for our situation (we were paying for the wedding mostly on our own with little help) and we had so many people telling us how much they enjoyed our wedding and THE FOOD at our reception was one of the most complimented things about our weddings. I visited for lunch on the opening day, and everything was fantastic. As soon as I walked in, I couldn't take my eyes off the ceiling structure, which beautifully complemented the string lights. My friends and I were seated promptly and ordered our drinks. Since it was still early in the day, we opted for a pomegranate drink, Mexican Coke, and a bottle of water. For lunch, we chose a grilled chicken salad, a Terra burger, and a salmon sandwich. Everything was superb. Our food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. With the lovely terrace shaded by large trees, excellent service, and delicious food, Terra is a must-visit spot for anyone attending the pageant or exploring Laguna Beach.
Disappointing, to say the least. I didn’t expect such subpar food and service at a high-end art exhibition. We were given plastic utensils, a salad that wasn't mixed, and dressing served on the side in a plastic container. We had to wait for ketchup for our fries, which were served first, and since there were only two other occupied tables, the ketchup arrived just in time for our fries to be cold. The glass I requested for my sparkling water came with a noticeable fuchsia lipstick mark on the rim. The salt I asked for also never arrived. On the bright side, we did manage to take some nice portraits there, though.
Absolutely wonderful! What a refreshing change in the venue! We dined there on July 13, 2018, before the pageant and had an excellent experience. The service was prompt and attentive, especially as we arrived for our 6:30 reservation. Our party of three ordered a variety of dishes: the lamb shank was incredibly tender, the pork chop was thick and juicy, accompanied by a fantastic sauce, and the salmon was moist—a great healthy option. We also shared a single order of their delicious cobbler, which was more than enough for the three of us. I highly recommend this place!

I dined with a large group last night, and we had a fantastic experience! The staff, especially Ramon and a lovely lady whose name I’ve unfortunately forgotten, managed our large party seamlessly. The food was incredible; I enjoyed the lamb with cauliflower mash, and it was amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful, making it an overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend eating here!
Perfect setup for dinner before Pageant of the Masters! Their limited but more than sufficient menu allows Kitchen and Front staff to manage the 6 pm onslaught. Pro tip: Get there at 5:30 and relax! We prefer sitting out from under the wonderful mid-century outdoor roof. Avoid crowding and tougher acoustics. Food was excellent.
The food and drinks were delightful, but the selection offered was quite limited. It took an excessive amount of time—at least 5 minutes after we were seated—before any waitstaff approached our table. It seemed like there were far too few servers considering the number of tables.
The staff is welcoming, fast and attentive. Put the menu classics including salmon and lamb. Icy cocktails, cold designs all right!

Good place to eat before a pageant show. Food was mediocre. A bit expensive. But the ambience and convenience is fabulous.
