Was looking forward to going back to Testo?s with the news of opening there dining room We ordered the pizza and an antipasto salad both excellent pizza order crispy as order was delicious My only complaint was their pasta fagioli soup, tasted great but a small cup priced at 10.25. I ask the waitress is that correct went to the kitchen spoke to Jim believe owner response was yes cause it?s not a soup. Pasta fagioli is a soup per the definition on there recipe I do not mind paying but at 10.25 it?s highly overpriced. Hopefully Jim will adjust the price or in my opinion there will be more complaints. per description from there menu Pasta Fagioli....................................................
(Note: Strictly rating the pizza) 7.7/10. Overall, good quality solid pizza. Well cooked and tasty. The dough is thick and fluffy with a lot of flop, so if that's your thing, great! However if you prefer thin and crispy NY style this is not your place. Anyway, the sauce to cheese ratio was good, although I felt the flavor left something to be desired. I found myself reaching for the red pepper and oregano to add to the natural flavor of the cheese and sauce. So for that reason I don't think the pizza reaches into the eights, but it's still among the better pizza available in the area and I will order it again.
Testo's is my family's favorite little Italian place to go to. No matter what time of year, it always delivers with high quality food. I love the chicken parm and have also gotten a white pizza with broccoli many times here. If you haven't gone, you should consider going soon!
