Texas Tavern - Reservar una mesa

Bar none the worst dining experience I have ever had in my entire life. If I had the choice between a $90 speeding ticket or the meal and service I had to endure at the Texas tavern, it would be a hard decision. After being served drinks at first, it took an hour for our appetizer (which we had no cutlery, plates or napkins for) then another 40 minutes for our food. Our food was very blatantly kept under a warming light for a long period of time, feeling stale and dried out and luke warm. There were about 3 tables of people in the restaurant, not busy at all. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, especially for a small business that I'd like to see thrive, but the experience we had was incrediy disappointing. The first two beers we tried to order were not available. Waited an hour for food (with only a couple other customers in the restaurant), just for 3 out of 4 meals to come without half of the ingredients because they were out but did not bother to tell us that when we ordered so we could choose something else. Food was cold. Server was slow, inattentive and not friendly. I feel like this doesn't even do justice to how bad of an experience we had. Can certainly say we will not be back. Very sad

The food here is not bad but the gravy that I finally received was grose it tasted like dish water and after speaking with our waitress I found out if was frozen and reheated not a good idea...the salad that was on the plate was not the best the flavor was off taste. The nachos that we had were just the run of the mill and when told three times no jalepinos on them they they arrived at the table with jalepinos on them.. needless to say not a very good dining experience and we will not be eating here again.

My friend and I waited 45 minutes for a pitiful salad and a Fajita bowl that was a simple gross salad. Meat was cold and dry. Small portions too. Total regret. Waitress ignored us and wasnt friendly. Bartender was rude. Overall terrible experience. Go to the 1000 Island Brewery instead. Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Horrible food, horrible service. Worst restaurant in town. You'd be better off going literally anywhere else. At least mcdonalds is hot when you get it!

Went to Texas Tavern Saturday Night. Live music, fun atmosphere and great staff! It's a must to check out. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
