We came here for my friend's birthday last week.. they were quite attentive.. it's only a shame one of our party was running late so it got a bit awkward having to say we weren't ready to order BUT we were asked for drinks and poppadom starters very early on. Really lovely restaurant setting, spacious and generally had a relaxed feel to it. I would definitely recommend getting a Thali as the name is all about it. We were raving about the peshwari naans- girls said it was the best one they'd ever had. I got the MALAI KARI KING PRAWN THALI (GF)(N)(M and whilst it was nice, it didn't make me food dance! As I like spice I would get the Chilli Paneer next time but the prawns were really succulent...
When this restaurant opened six years ago it was highly recommended. This was because the type of food was not the normal Indian. It has taken me six years to visit this restaurant. This was because the family I was having dinner with were are coming to Surbiton. The poppadoms we started with were the lightest I have ever tasted. Absolutely wonderful if this can be said about a confident we also started with a pickle tray the dishes that we had were Bhaing Thali,Chilli Pan Thali, Saag Chick Thali, all with Pilao Rice. We ordered takeaway having eaten in the restaurant many times. The food was extremely disappointing as if it had come from somewhere entirely different. Tried ringing the restaurant several times but fobbed off every time. Let’s be clear the food is not cheap. My partner spent a long time trying to get through to the restaurant but told the manager was in the toilet each time he tried to call over a period of 30 45 minutes. Really? Let’s just say don’t bother ordering a takeaway. We are not convinced the food comes from this restaurant so just beware. Will not be ordering again and will be going in person to complain as they are not taking our calls! Very poor food and service
We ordered a takeout through their website. After 90 minutes the food had not arrived. To this day we still do not have the food and we are in the process of trying to get a refund. The team on the phone were extremely rude and unaccommodating. A truly horrible experience I advise anyone to avoid. It may be different through Deliveroo as you can obtain credit better but do not use their website.

This is an excellent curry house. Better than the usual suburban restaurants with poor lighting and no atmosphere. This is light and spacious and the two guys that run it are hands on. The menu has some original dishes and the Thali Ho options are a new concept (for me) and a great way to eat. Food excellent. Service excellent. Will definitely return with family friends
I have been searching for good Indian food for a while now, and this was my first visit to this restaurant. The sauces were fresh and had excellent flavor, and the portion sizes were generous. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant in the future. The delivery was fast and the service was friendly. I have already recommended this restaurant to my friends.
This restaurant is exceptional, in my opinion. It is the best Indian restaurant in the area. The service is consistently friendly and efficient, and the food is always excellent. They offer a wide range of classic dishes as well as unique ones that you rarely find on other Indian restaurant menus. The decor is also quite pleasant.
First visit today we liked it! Really big restaurant and funky decor. Tasty fresh food. And lots of choice for vegans vegetarians. My only niggle is it's rather unnecessary to charge for a little bowl of chopped chilli in all the restaurants in all the world, that's never happened before.
