The Barley Mow - Reservar una mesa

I adore this Barley! I am a huge fan of Barley Mow locations in Almonte, Orleans, and Stittsville. While I have no issues with the other spots, Stittsville is the newest of the three and is beautifully decorated with an impressive bar area. My friends and I often visit on Friday nights to listen to the band. We have been regulars since it opened and have always appreciated the friendly and personable staff. It's a blast to go for drinks, and I particularly love their nachos and the HUGE prime rib club sandwich! It's a must-try when you're with friends. P.S. They have Somersby cider on tap for those who are not big fans of beer.

I had dinner here with my mother who has a nut and shellfish allergy. Her order had almonds on it and she asked that they make the food without the almonds. No problem! The next thing we know a very friendly and apologetic manager turns up at our table. He explained that they do all the prep ahead of time (like most restaurants) and that he couldn't guarantee her food had never seen an almond. He stayed at our table and workshopped a meal for my mum so that she could eat! What a great place! 1 star off for not having better food control in the first place, but 4 star service.

My family and I visited this restaurant last Sunday and had a fantastic experience. We were seated in a private booth with our three kids, the service provided by Brendan was excellent, and the food was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that Kids Eat Free on Sundays, which was a nice bonus. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Tonight was first visit. Server was cheery, good choices of different dishes on menu. Well presented and hot, tasty food. Battered Cauli, chorizo do, fish and chips, malayan curry. All great.

Nice venue and raised area for music makes for a good evening. Local music good variety of beer. Food was good by all accounts. Bar service is friendly.

Menu is your typical bar selections...so nothing surprising at all. The service was excellent. For those who love veggie burgers. It's a must try.
