The Barley Sugar Bakehouse

My first visit today. They only had one loaf left, as I got there quite late, but it is delicious! They sadly have no gluten free option. They do a spelt sourdough, which does have some white French flour in. The lady did give me two complimentary meringues though to make up for it : We are definitely going back!

I love living so close to The Barley Sugar Bakery where I can pop in before work and buy the most delicious pastries, whilst smelling all the delights of breads, savouries. The service is always excellent! Go taste for yourself and spread the word to all your friends. xx

This is the best bread I have tasted outside of France, absolutely beautiful. This is a little gem that is worth visiting so I suggest you put the dates and times in your diary so you do not miss out!
