We tried the Bay Hotel for lunch on a Friday.We didn't have a reservation & it was very busy. ( Would book in future ) However we were offered seating at a bench / stool seating.Staff were friendly & efficient & a bottle of cold water was offered to us as soon as we sat down & menus were on the table.We ordered from the SPECIAL 15$ menu ( available for lunch Mon-Fri ) My lunch companion ordered Fish n Chips ( with salad ) & l ordered The Bay Parma also served with salad )We were both very happy with our meals.Firstly we didn't have to wait very long for our food & secondly both meals arrived & were piping hot ( So important to us !!! ). Both dishes tasted good & we both loved the salad accom...
We used to go here quite often, especially for Parma night which was always excellent. The first time we went to steak night the steaks were amazingly good. The second time the steak was inedible so haven't tried that again. Went recently on a Saturday night and the food was very average. It certainly seems to have gone downhill since we were regular customers. The grilled and battered fish in particular were tiny servings. We have had larger kids meals. I don't know if the chef has changed as the menu is a bit different or if Saturday nights are just too busy??
Attended Branches at The Bay Hotel for a work fuction last night. We were celebrating 50 years of combined service to the community for 3 of our GP's. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate! The venue was spacious, the staff were very professional and the food was absolutely delicious! The Pork Belly is to die for! YUM!!! We will be celebrating 60 years of combined service to the community for 3 of our reception staff soon and I think Branches may just be getting a return visit.
We had our daughters wedding at Branches on the Bay, what a night, the staff were excellent the service was awesome and the food was great, it was non stop everyone commented how great the food was and there was plenty of it. the DJ from Dj Masters ( Aiden ) was incredible together with an excellent MC Ryan. We would highly recommend Branches for your private function whether it be a Wedding , Birthday or staff function.

Parma is great on a monday night Although they advertise $15 parma and pot but when we booked a large group they said that it was $15 parma only, still great value but disappointed they didn't honour the advertised special Good atmosphere Better to book tables by the window as otherwise you feel you are in the middle of the bar and waiters
Went there with another couple. Evening started well, but place became so noisy we left early. My husband had a good salad. The Parma Chicken was dry. We were asked to pay our food bill at 9.30 as the restaurant was closing - bar was open. This is probably a good hang-out if you are under 25 and want to party.
Nice atmosphere, but slow service and mediocre selection of menu choices. Meals were reasonably priced but disappointing both in flavour & portion size. This place has certainly gone down hill, wouldn't rush back. Sorry!
I had the paella and it was okay but not excellent and my husband had the whole baby snapper and that was also just average. The service was friendly and efficient.

Lunch $15 menu. Can't beat it! Brownie $12 is decadent coupled with calamari salad $15. Very casual service but suits me.
Went here for a bit of a catch up with some work friends and had a great time. Food was well priced and tasty.
