For the starter, we had a prawn cocktail with a twist, featuring mango sauce and slices of avocado instead of the traditional Marie Rose sauce—it was simply beautiful. The main course was beef bourguignon; the beef was wonderfully tender and bursting with flavor. The young chef even came over to check on us. At just 17 years old, he was so pleased and proud of our compliments—he's certainly a chef to watch in the future! We concluded our meal with Eton mess, one of my favorites, and it was just as delightful as the rest of our dishes. This place is definitely worth a visit. Women behind the bar was wearing a tracksuit and had an attitude after asking for a menu who seemed to be the chef spoke to me in shorts with a scruffy fosters T shirt and told me they had 2 fish based starters and ONLY roast chicken for a Sunday dinner POOR customer service POOR menu options and by the looks of things POOR kitchen hygiene. Any reply can be posted by this company and thats fine but we seen and witnessed what we did and will never use this place again!.
