Today, on the 25th, I went for lunch at this restaurant. The bar staff were welcoming and pleasant, however, the food was not very good. My husband ordered the chicken wings, which were okay, but I had the steak melt. Unfortunately, the steak was mostly gristle, with just a thin layer of cheese and two small, limp baby gem lettuce leaves. The chips were good, but overall, the meal was disappointing. When I went to pay, the person behind the bar asked if my food was okay, and I mentioned the issue with the steak. I was met with a simple apology. One of the best pubs in urmston. Jimmy the landlord is always willing to go out of his way to help you as are all the staff. Only minor gripe is the outside which needs a revamp and possibly a couple of other things in the kids play area like a seesaw or something. Also, footballs should not be allowed outside as kids end up smashing glasses with them. Other than that i cant fault the place
The Christmas meal at this restaurant was absolutely delightful and everything was delicious. The mince pies were fabulous. The price per person was £40–50, and the food and service both received a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere was rated a 4 out of 5. There is plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot.

Love this pub but sick of dog friendly pubs. They smell, sniff near tables where food is. A lovely pub tho, well laid out and lovely staff.
The service and food were both fantastic and very affordable! I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
