The BoVine Brasserie

The BoVine Brasserie is the place to go and have brilliant food!We had a steak each with all the trimmings, it was cooked to perfection as we had asked for, that together with the side of vegetables, which we both thought were the best vegetables we have eaten, nice and crisp, not wispy and limp. We could not fault the service either by Jenna and the chef, they were very attentive and what made our anniversary night more special Jenna presented us with a dessert on the house. We will definitely be back to try out the ribs/burgers which looked divine. Having lived in Hornsby for over 12 years we have never eaten here before, but would strongly recommend it to anyone even if you have to travel...

A local steak house based at St Ives, I first came across Bovine Brasserie via menu log. Where I received an excellent steak.We decided to try the restaurant in person. I found the food outstanding, service excellent and byo was a bonus.Our entrees included kangaroo, which was cooked superbly and tasted great and boerewors with potato mash. Which was incredible, I would easily go back just for that.Mains included the Cape Grim scotch fillet with accompanying infused vinegars, absolute must!! We also had the rack of ribs.Desert was also good.If you are in St Ives and want meat, you cannot go past Bovine Brasserie. Very highly recommended...and I don't say that often.Expect to pay $70 for 3 co...

After living in St Ives for almost two years it is the first time we visited the Bovine Brasserie. In short - no less than excellent! Service is very good and quick, atmosphere is very nice. Our two boys were offered pencils and colouring pictures sheets. Dining room personnel is very polite and smiling. The food - to my taste, simply brilliant! Steaks, burgers, birds, fish and eventually the ribs,both pork and beef. Fantastic! Kids menu includes pasta, chicken, burger and rump steak, drink and chips, accompanied with a scoop of ice cream. By all means worth a visit, and for the rest - just check the pictures out.

Went last night. Restaurant was nice and busy. Great wait staff. 5 of us shared a couple of starters, the mushrooms and the calamari, both good portions and tasty! I ordered the small fillet steak cooked medium rare. It came out perfectly and great chips to accompany it. We rounded off the food with the steamed veg and a rocket and pear salad, the later was especially good. All this was accompanied by a lovely, well priced glass of red. Definitely recommend this place. Good food, great staff and the place itself was relaxed and not cramped or noisey despite all tables being full! Will definitely go again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Bovine Brasserie is excellent. This was our second time here this year and the food was just as good as last time.These guys know their steaks and do a wonderful job delivering exactly what you order.BYO is a bonus. Although it is also licensed.This Tuesday night is was very busy, obviously locals love this place.Only reason I didn't give a 5 for a second time was that not enough staff. Although if I ran a restaurant I would offer the waitress a job, she is fantastic!!!

Discovered this place after living in St Ives for 2 years, definitely going to come back again. The food is very tasty, service friendly and atmosphere is great. We ordered chicken wings, mushrooms for a starter, rack of ribs for the main meal and kids meal. The wings were tasty, the half rack pork and half rack beef ribs can easily feed 2 very hungry people or 4 not very hungry. The kids meals are good and arrived quickly.

This has become our Favourite local Restaurant of choice.Not only Family friendly but has a wide choice of dishes, most are suitable for my daughter whom has a Nut Allergy.I can't stress enough how nice it is to go out to a restaurant and feel relaxed ordering food for my daughter thats not Pizza.We all love the Ribs, lamb cutlets,Mashpotato,and calamari Thank You BoVine Brasserie Keep up the good work

My party of 6 found something for everyone on the menue. We even had a live piano player on the night. I hope they can keep up this restaurant at this location seems to have a curse with many changes of ownership over the years. It is not a cheap night, but yummy. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went with few mates for dinner and we had a great steak dining experience. Very impressed with the range of options available. Service staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!! We will definitely give it a go again.

On a Tuesday night the restaurant was full. Starters lovely, steaks amazing. Totally yum in a great atmosphere. Clean plate time!
