I 've been to the National Harbor soooo many times and I 've somehow overlooked this spot each time. I didn 't realize it existed until a recent visit with a friend and our daughters. We had gone to an event at the Gaylord and wanted a real lunch so we walked around. We stopped in and were greeted immediately. To my surprise, there were other families with kids dining in as well. Whenever I 'm in a bar, I feel like I should eat chicken wings. They had a lot of options and I was torn between two flavors but took the waitress ' suggestion and got the Nashville Hot wings and a Caesar Salad. This restaurant was absolutely horrible, food, beer and service. We ordered appetizers, lunch and drinks. It took about 15 minutes just to get a waiter. Their beer was warm and flat, it took well over an hour to get the first of several appetizers, and then the others came out one at a time over some period of time. Our lunch orders were just basic lunch items which took well over two hours to start coming out and then they were wrong. Just trying to get drink refills (water soda) was virtually impossible. Besides the burgers being well done. Not my liking. The service wasn't bad. Seemed we had a new young lady. But she was good. A bit nervous not much talkative. But overall very nice. The beer well ordered the lose cannon. The first two didn't quite look like it . But the 3rd did and tasted like what I know. Maybe a mistake . But I know the first two where not week in ABV at all. So no complaints. A bit pricey for a 16 oz sorry used to breweries. Will come back and check other places that serve beer and food next time . Overall not bad . 4 stars only for the young server.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the fantastic early 2000s alternative music and the friendly service. A heads-up: the fries are seasoned with black pepper, which I personally enjoy, but it might take some by surprise if they're not expecting it! As for vegetarian options, they offer the Impossible Burger, which I customized with toppings from another burger on the menu, and it turned out delicious. The price per person is around $20–30. Overall, I would rate the food a solid 4 out of 5.

Had a lovely server with fast and friendly service. She was super patient and was running the floor so well! I can't remember her name unfortunately but maybe she'll remember us based on our order? Between the four of us in my party, two got the chicken tenders platter, one got the Korean BBQ Flatbread, and the last had a burger. The food was wonderful! Drinks were a bit on the stronger side but you sure do get what you pay for!
We went to brass trap and ordered beer, cider, chicken tenders and fish and chips. The fish and chips were ordered after my friend ordered chicken wings and they came out frozen in the middle. While the rest of the order was good we were really disappointed about being served lukewarm and frozen wings. Our server was also a bit short, borderline rude. I won't be returning.
What a fantastic little place! It's full of energy, with excellent service, delicious food, and great drinks. I especially love the fish tacos and pretzel bites. If you visit, make sure to ask for Eli—he was an incredible bartender and server. We will definitely return if we’re in the area!
The worse location I've been to. 6 month old bottle of IPA, warm and flat draught. 20 minutes to get the drinks, another 30 for food. The food was horrible. Refer to the pic for the loaded fries. I've been to BrassTaps before and this is definately an outlier in the quality category.
