The atmosphere is great and I really like that there was not music blasting so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. The food was decent, not phenomenal. I thought the burger was dry and my drink sat empty for half my meal. Not a welcoming feeling, you could tell the owner was chummy with the regulars, its one of the places that seems to not like people they don't know. Do yourself a favor and drive a little farther for Algoma Pizza Bowl. They have the food and service perfected.
Daughter had a softball game and after the game we decided to “give this place a try.” Needless to say, as we walked in, we felt uncomfortable from the get go. There were maybe 5 people in the place and when we walked in the bartender lady rolled her eyes. As we were about to pick a table to sit at, another eye roll. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a place. If I was in this community and not a “local” I would avoid this place like the plague.
Menu date 3.17.23 Local Bar with great food. Burgers and fish fry will not disappoint. Not on the menu, but a fun snack with beer, fresh fried pork skins. Friendly folks that make it easy to feel at home. Taking Hwy 42 to Door County, this is worth a rest stop.

The burgers and pizzas at this restaurant are fantastic! The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5-star rating.
Best burger around! Forget Joe Rouers....greasy n lousy buns....if you want a fantastic hamburger. GO TO THE BULLPEN!
