If you're planning to dine here, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as I personally dislike being disappointed. The menu is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We discovered this gem while exploring the local attractions. The campsite is incredibly affordable, and the amenities are impressive for such a small site. Our stay was peaceful, and I would recommend this place to both beginner and experienced campers. Fires are allowed, and it's dog-friendly too. Overall, I give it a 10/10!
I made a reservation for a camping night specifically to dine at this restaurant. We found a great camping spot, but when we arrived, we were informed that all dinner reservations were fully booked. However, we were told that lunch the next day would be possible. We planned to wait until lunch to check out, only to be told the next day that we still couldn't eat there. Overall, I would rate the experience: Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 3.
I absolutely love this pub! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic. I've visited frequently and have never had a bad meal. It's a wonderfully traditional pub where everyone feels welcome. The quality of the food is exceptional—much better than what you'd typically expect from pubs nowadays. I highly recommend it!

My pub of choice in, East Sussex, come here often. Good selection of beer (Camden Hells is the favourite) and excellent food (try their pies). Lots of good local seafood often on the specials menu if that's what you are into. Very friendly staff and excellent service.
The chicken and ham pie and steak and Guinness pie were excellent and served with beautifully crunchy vegetables. Even the chocolate brownie seemed homemade. On top of that, the service was so friendly and efficient. A perfect meal, thank you.
We had our evening meal at The Bull Inn. The staff are so friendly and professional. The food is excellent. My husband had the chicken pie 10/10. I had the seafood platter 10/10. So reasonably priced and delicious. Thank you The Bull Inn.
