The Canmore Hotel - Reserva de mesa

We were doing a pub crawl with a group of six. We hit this bar mid stride and realized that we found an old school tavern/pub with cheaper drinks and lots of locals. The staff was great and for a busy spot everyone was having a good time. They had pool tables, jukebox, and yes shuffle board. We went to a couple of other spots then returned as it was by far the best location. The only down fall of the place is it still has the old stale smoke smell in it. This could be due to the decor, carpets and paint not being updated since the 80's. Fantastic that for sure.Only downside was that the first cab driver that we flagged down after last call was sitting in the bar for the majority of the night...

My wife and I love going to bars with character. This place is in the middle of downtown and has obviously been there for a long time. It's big and dark inside, and loaded with character. They have a lot of beers on tap and our bartenders (we went twice) were super friendly and informative. We met a number of friendly local people there. It's a very warm, friendly, and welcoming place.

This is definately a local spot . Went there when I lived there and alot of locals that go DO NOT seem to like tourists and make it known . Wouldnt pay 20 bucks a night for this place . Used to be alot better , but lately with all the real estate investors building and creating TIME SHARES , it isnt somewhere to go when traveling .

Stopped by for a drink around 1.00 pm while shopping downtown, we sat there for over 10 minutes with no service. In fact one of the patrons actually went to the back and heard him say there are people here's that need to be servd, still no one came out so we left. Would not go back. Reserva una mesa ahora

Affectionately called the "HO", explained by its history. Excellent roof top view patio of the Rockies.Food was good and wait staff were very good. Lots of locals and worth a visit for tourists.

The Canmore hotel looks old on the out side and its old on the inside to but it is the one of the oldess hotel in Alberta

Great bar to let a load off with friends after a hard days work. Let the Sam Bailey band rocks your socks off.
