The Caribbean Jerk Spot

Was in Belleville for end of summer family trip. We try new places on every trip and this was 1 of them.Ordered on Uber eats and food was delivered within estimated time, only wasn't what I had ordered.Ordered: Curry Beef with rice and peas, Fish (King/Wahoo) and 2 Spicy Beef Patties.Received: Jerk Chicken With rice, Ackee Saltfish 1 Chicken Patty and 1 MildBeef.REORDER:Curry Beef and Rice, Chicken Roti (Fish ordered above not available) 2 Spicy Beef Patties.Received 2 Chicken patties and wasnt going to order a 3rd time...atleast I had Curry Beef, wife was not happy not getting fish dish that was first ordered.

I found the oxtail to be excessively salty, making it impossible to taste anything but salt. The seasoning on the jerk chicken skin was burnt, leaving a bitter and salty flavor. The chicken meat was extremely dry, almost like chewing on a leather belt. Honestly, boiling a piece of chicken wouldn’t even be considered good cooking, and the food here was genuinely disappointing. I came here after seeing the high reviews, but I've realized I can't trust Google reviews.

It is so nice to find authentic, delicious food here. If in Belleville this is definitely a place to eat if you like Caribbean food. I often call and ask if they can make me fish fritters to pick up. I can't express how much I appreciate these guys. I highly highly recommend them!

The staff are friendly the oxtail is delicious! They have a fairly large seating area inside the restaurant. Good atmosphere for families with children. Delicious food options!

EVERY SINGLE TIME that I am in belleville, I’m here. Goat Roti, Jerk Chicken, Fried Chicken, Ox Tail, all phenomenal.
