The Castle - Reserva de mesa

Lovely place. Food was very tasty and looked good. I had the lasagna. The pub was also very welcoming. It was nice and warm and it was a very rustic atmosphere. Some of the floor is even original from the 19th century. The only problem was that there was a leak at the time I was there. Everything else was lovely Parking: There are plenty of spots in the parking lot but you can't use it because it is only for staff and residents. You would have to find somewhere else to park. After previously dining here before we decided to pop in on a busy Saturday with the off chance they had a table available for hubby and I. It’s safe to say the castle were brilliant once again. Going above and beyond. Staff Brilliant, food delicious, beautiful views and cozy atmosphere. Thankyou castle. We will return again and be sure to book next time! Thankyou. Lovely pub with real fires and tasty food. Have to say the staff were excellent, really friendly, attentive and welcoming especially Caitlin. Would highly recommend, oh and dog friendly too.

Yummy fish finger sandwiches - just a little too much bread for my taste. I've visited a few times following a walk or a run in the peaks.

This is a huge pub in a town with loads of character and other pubsIt reminded me of a chain pub, which I think it may be.

No wifi? The ambience was cozy but pretty normal for pub/inns.
