On Mother's Day, our party of five went to the Chef's Table located 116 Street in Rockaway Park. It was a first for my daughter and myself. My boyfriend, his sister and mom were there many years previously under different management. The food was awesome, the service was on point. My daughter has a lot of allergies, including nuts, shellfish, shrimp, fruits amongst others. Shethoroughly enjoyed her food, and did not get ill from any cross contamination. Everyone had a different meal, variousappetizers, yet we were equally satisfied. The only reason I didn't give five stars was because the bread served in the basketswere cold and not good quality. The food was actually quite good—very good, in fact. The ambiance of the place is nice and cozy. However, they were short-staffed and very busy; my food took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, and at one point, I almost decided to leave. It was only after I complained that the waitress informed me they were one cook short. I understand that staffing issues happen, but I would have appreciated knowing that from the start. I will definitely give them another chance, as I truly enjoyed the food, and I hope they have enough staff next time.

I visited the Chef's Table for the first time and really enjoyed it! The mussels in red sauce were delicious, albeit a bit messy. My husband ordered the braised short ribs, which he also found quite tasty. I tried the fish tacos, and they were incredibly crispy with a delightful green sauce! Overall, the meal was enjoyable—not bad at all for a local spot in Rockaway. However, my Moscow mule was a bit disappointing, but the staff kindly removed it from my bill. It took about 25 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold. We ordered Eggs Benedict, Chicken and Waffles, Lobster Benedict, and Calamari, along with a Pineapple Margarita that was uncomfortably sour. While the presentation of the dishes was appealing, we found ourselves constantly searching for our server to request extra napkins, hot sauce, and coffee creamer, only to realize I had to get those things myself. Overall, it was a disappointing visit.

Came with my family on Easter. It was amazing. The service is great, everyone was extremely welcoming friendly. Great vibe and atmosphere. They had a live band there, the music was amazing the musician was also really nice. The food was delectable. Thecrab cakes were some of the best crab cakes I?ve had. Steak was done just as I requested. No complaints. I will be coming back I highly recommend. 10/10

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I must say, I really enjoyed it. The dish I ordered was delightful, and both my husband and I loved the flavor of the meat – it was incredibly tasty. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I especially appreciated the unique music they played; it was simply wonderful.

I had a fantastic dinner last night. Chef Manny mentioned that when he first started here, he got rid of the microwave, and you can really taste the difference in the food—it was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially our waitress Natalie. Reserva una mesa ahora

It was my first time eating in this place, the dish that I personally asked for, me and my husband liked the taste of the meat ? very tasty, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful, their music was very original, wonderful music

I ordered a lobster mac N cheese, lobster soup, grilled salmon and caesar salad. The flavors exceeded my expectations. I will love to see Alfredo sauce added in the pasta menu.
