The Clock House Inn

This was our first visit to The Clock House, recommended by friends. Welcome to arrival, ordered drinks and was shown on our table. Order at the table, we all had 3 courses. The starters arrived after a short wait and were beautifully presented and well cooked. Main course after a nice interval followed, Hunters Chicken was good and would highly recommend it. Meals are a good size, so when it came to puddings, we decided to share a (bowl and 2 spoons), as the selection was very tempting and we wanted to try. I can't blame this place. We were in the area for a week and visited three times. Every time all 4 meals were perfectly cooked, perfectly presented and perfectly enjoyable. Great home cooked food. Very reasonable prices. Friendly staff and a nice cozy atmosphere. I often visit Dorset and will definitely go out my way to revise. It is also dog friendly x

Great food cheap. Very friendly bar lady. She obviously loves dogs and came by to talk to us. Great to bring dogs to a restaurant.

Good ale, great food, nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly bar staff. What more can you ask for in a pub. Thoroughly recommended.
