we just ate our Christmas dinner at the **** and I have to say what a wonderful experience from beginning to end. a nice friendly greeting at the arrival, then shown on our table with free drinks and warm rolls, we had a starter, main course desert coffee and cheese board, everything perfectly cooked and not brushed. After I'm a little bit tangible about eating on Christmas day, I have to say that I wouldn't think twice about repeating the experience. wonderful staff, delicious food, definitiw 5* of us thank you.

We had a fantastic Sunday Roast at this restaurant. The beef and turkey were cooked perfectly, and the variety of vegetables was excellent. My husband has a gluten allergy, so we were grateful for the gluten-free options like cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings, and gravy that were specially made for him. It was a special treat for him, and we really appreciate the care and attention given to his dietary needs. Thank you for providing such great service.

My party of 4 had made a reservation at this pub for 12:30 on Valentine's Day. However, upon arriving, we found the pub to be dark and locked. Even after waiting for 2 hours, the situation remained the same. We were disappointed that they expected us to inform them if we needed to cancel our booking, yet they did not inform us that they could not honor our reservation. Due to this experience, we have no intention of returning to this establishment.

Drove up for the day from Brighton with the intention of eating local produce in a traditional pub. Unsuccessfully tried in 2 other pubs and called the **** Inn to check if they were serving food which they were. Fantastic telephone manner and a warm welcome on arrival by the owner. It was pie night which went down a treat.Great welcome. Great hospitality. Will be back. Reserva una mesa ahora

I had that huh and chorizo linguine and it was delicious! I had this and a dietary koks and it came to £14, the prices are very decent for the beautiful eating they get! they have recently decorated and it is beautiful and bright in there with a good amount of 'kozy pub' vibe still. the food took a while to come, but it didn't disturb us.

They eat here for the first time today. amazing eating especially the frying chicken! fantastic service and very friendly. really enjoyed our afternoon and will be back with the rest of our family! this pub ensures all age groups and dog friendly with a large garden! thank you. to soon again!

Sunday roast left a lot to be desired. Cold food. Limp potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Over cooked veg. Paella was ok. Very slow service. Need more staff. I was Looking forward to going as new owners and reviews looked good. Extremely disappointed. Won’t be going back.

nice pub, very nice inside. very friendly staff, with a good selection of drinks. a lot of space in the beer garden and beautiful on a sunny day. it did not eat this time, but the menu looks good and cheap. will return definately to try out the food. Reserva una mesa ahora

Newly renovated and under new ownership, absolutely lovely pub. Friendly staff, great beer garden with plenty of space, family friendly, dog friendly, and a really delicious home made vegan nut roast on a Sunday. I’ll be back for sure!

Recently taken over and decorated. Hosts are lovely, décor tasteful, reasonable prices. Looking forward to trying the food as we were too late this time. Also the pub is dog friendly which is great as the mummy of a puppy Frenchie!
