Stopped in for a late lunch for four and thought it was very nice. Service was a little on the slow side but we weren't in a rush so suited us. All had roast dinners and desserts and thought it was very tasty and actually well priced at £12 for the basic roast and £6 for dessert. I wouldnt have wanted to pay more for what it was though. Lacking crispy potatoes but was still nice. Its really light and airy inside and looked to have a nice beer garden out the back. A good amount of parking space too. Will go back to try the mid-week menu.

After a 5 mile walk, we were ready for a good meal at the ****. Although I had made a booking by email earlier in the week which had been accepted we arrived at 1pm to finf the place shut and the car park empty. As the next pub is 2 miles away, by the time we arrived there they had stopped serving food. We were not amused. Locals we met on the way confirmed that opening times are very hit and miss. Be warned!

What a great place! Very quiet for a Saturday lunchtime, we really hope people discover this little countryside gem! We had a lovely burger to share and delicious beer in the spacious garden. Worried to see that it’s up for sale! We hope it’s not because it’s too quiet and that it can keep going, and whoever runs it keeps it as good as it is at the moment!

This pub has a really inviting and laid-back atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a drink and unwinding. They offer a great variety of real ales, although I was disappointed that they weren't serving food when I visited. It's a great spot to make a pit stop for those, like myself, hiking along the Stour Valley Way. Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant is well-managed with a friendly staff. It was bustling with many diners during my visit. I will definitely be returning and I appreciate the community involvement, as I believe the village helps run it. Overall, a great concept. - John

A lot of things not in stock as arrived after 2pm. Food overall really good. Presented well. Great friendly staff. Nice environment. Wish the roast potatoes were more crispy!

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is clean and well-presented, and the portion sizes are generous. I can't wait to come back.

The pub is lovely and the service was fine but we were very underwhelmed by the food. Not much vegetarian option.
