Traveling from the United States me and my fiance tried this place out. We ordered the vegan calamari and the vegan fish and chips. The calamari is real delight to eat. The vegan fish is ok to say the least. I felt like it was missing something in flavor. But it was still edible regardless. The service was also ok, but I was a bit confused with the 10% service charge. I've been to restaurants in the states where a service charge is added if it was over a several amount of people. But the fact that we ate as just myself and my fiancé did throw me off a little. Overall, in the end its still a good and nice restaurant. I even liked the decor as well. This is one of the best fish and chip shops I've visited. Both the takeaway and dine-in options are excellent. The scampi might be the best I've ever had. The fish is delicious, and the chips are quite nice as well. The service in the restaurant is great. I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for fish and chips. Ate from here 2 nights in a row. First meal was really nice. Then second meal a huge difference. Fish was OK, but the Cumberland sausage was stone cold in the middle, so didn't eat them.
