Fantastic culinary experience……… My wife and I, along with our dear friends visited The County restaurant, 13 The Green, Aycliffe Village, County Durham today, Saturday the 19th of March 2022). As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by a lovely waitress/ hostess called Claire. She showed us to our table , gave us some menus and took our drinks order. We all chose different starters and mains. Kieran, our waiter, brought our meals and we were not disappointed. we had only our first take and are now filled, in which we could not finish them. would highly recommend giving them an attempt. Pick-up was super fast, eating piping hot and tasted fantastic, portions were bigger than expected it worth. we will definitely come back.

my husband and I had a lovely lunch here today we both had the steak and ale pie it was gorgeous. The staff were really nice and friendly we will certainly be back in the future.

Fantastic sunday lunch, a few too many flies in the dining room but the food was next level the desserts looked stunning so will be back back try next time

yesterday visited with my partner and had an absolutely beautiful vegan meal. the personal was also beautiful and friendly. wants to visit again
