Directed from another pub restaurant that was full. Good off road car parking. Quite a few tables available at hrs. Very smart decor with a pub side with fire and restaurant seating side. We've been to the |Crown and Cushion before and have always been pleased with the food. I booked this particular visit for a Saturday evening and the restaurant was very busy. However, the food and drinks arrived promptly, the service was very efficient and polite and our party were all very satisfied with the whole experience.

I recently visited Crown and Cushion and once again was impressed with the food. I made a reservation for a special Saturday night dinner and despite the restaurant being busy, our dishes and drinks were served promptly. The service was efficient and friendly and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
A last-minute search on travel advisor let us discover this little jewel. Would definitely return to the area just for the steak and ale cake. A must!

The Pub is sat on a gorgeous country road, it was a sunny day so we were able to make the most from the outside beer garden.
