Since I was dining alone, I sat at the bar, which offered a great view of the kitchen. It was enjoyable to watch the chef work their magic with those unique pan roasts. I was in and out in about 30-40 minutes, which fit perfectly into my workday. The only downside was the lobster. The tail meat was easy to reach but a bit chewy, while the claw was more work but very tender. Personally, I would prefer if lobster were optional, as I prefer crab. However, that wouldn't stop me from ordering the dish again. The chicken wings we ordered as appetizers were meaty and delicious, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp was so good that one serving just wasn’t enough. Diving into The Dive in Temple City has become a delightful tradition for us, thanks to their exceptional seafood dishes. The pan roast is our go to, a dish we can't resist ordering every visit. The oysters steal the spotlight with their freshness and variety, and the bacon wrapped shrimp, fish and chips, and clams and mussels amplify the culinary experience. It's a reel y great catch pun intended! Moreover, the service is quick and pleasant, adding to the overall positive experience. The ambiance is casually bustling, creating a welcoming atmosphere for us hungry folks.

As for kid-friendliness, our little ones ordered chicken strips and fries. The chicken strips were beautifully breaded, not your typical menu offering. The quality was outstanding—you really get what you pay for, and it tastes great! Their Halloween decorations were still up last week, and they looked fantastic. I've been to this restaurant several times, and the food and drinks are consistently excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the prices are very reasonable. I brought my picky boyfriend here for the first time, and even he enjoyed it! Plus, they have beignets, which are hard to come by. Their fish and chips, gumbo, po' boys, oysters, and mussels in broth are all delicious.

Came here for happy hour just to see if it's good to come back for regular meal. The happy meal menu was very and I mean very limited. Serving size is small as well. Service was super fast and attentive and all the staff were super friendly. This place is good for date nights or group gathering.

Must try! yum I have only had pan roast in Vegas and this didn't let me down. Oysters are bomb! The pastas are bomb. The seafood/food quality bomb. No wonder there is a wait. I like going for lunch less people. The mixed drinks good as well! Yes yes yes for me!!!!!!
