The Dosa Hub Authentic Indian

From the minute we walked into the restaurant we waited a few minutes before anyone even welcomed us, by the way there was only 4 other people in the restaurant so it wasn't like it was busy. We ordered the Dosa and Lamb cutlets for entree, the Dosa was average but the Lamb cutlets came out under cooked and had to send them back to get cooked again. For main we got a chicken biryani and butter chicken and again the meals were just average. Throughout our meal we never got asked how things were or would we like anything else and the two waitresses walked around with their head down and not able to get eye contact with them. Silly me, I thought the name of the restaurant implied it would be inexpensive as dosas are "street food" not normally associated with "fine dining". Okay, it could be my ignorance but it wasn't even reasonably priced and neither was it cheerful. The attempt at making it a "fine diner" only resulted in a strangely sterile and cold atmosphere. The same could be said of the service. We shared a masala dosa for entree which was delicious but was rather thin on the filling. The sauce in the chicken bryani wasn't mixed through resulting in patchy flavouring. I would have given it an "average" score for the food but the price and service takes it down a notch.

This is my local Indian restaurant and , sad to say, my last two visits have left me feeling a little disappointed. The welcome was friendly and the flavours in the food were good. However, the portions have declined, particularly with respect to the amount of meat in the dishes. The "corkage" on 4 wine glasses cost more than the wine we poured into them. The accompaniments served with the dosas seem to be less distinctive. If this decline continues then it will affect the custom base. Time to return to your previous standard.

If you want some nice dosas you in the inner west then this is the place to go to. They are a little more expensive compared to places like maya but once you have their dosas you will know why. The servings are also not that big so you'll need to get a couple of things if you have a big appetite, the service can be a little slow depending on how crowded the place is so be prepared Reserva una mesa ahora

The food I have had here in the past was very good, but don't bother trying the home delivery service. I have phoned 4 times in the last 6 months and each time been told they were too busy for home delivery. All fine, but don't advertise a service you can't deliver. I have never had this experience from any other restaurant in five dock even once in 15 years.

I have never eaten dosage before. Our friends recommended certain dishes and I tried quote a few things I had never eaten before. The paneer dosage was delicious, and the salt lassi was surprisingly good. We all had pistachio kulfi for dessert which was amazing with a strong cardamom flavour. Overall a really delicious meal.

Excellent authentic Indian food have been 3 times now and look forward to my next visit. One problem is the service it needs some work they forget drinks and even one of our dishes last time. With a better understanding of what service should be it would be a much better experience.

The food here is just amazing, authentic and very nice. All meat cooked perfectly. Staff are nice but can do with some minor improvements

The 70mm dosa is pretty impressive and will definitely make you feel full and satisfiedUnlike Maya's dosa, the dosa here is thicker.
