The Edge used to be my absolute favourite place to go sit, have a coffee and something delicious to eat. I have been going there for years but... Sorry guys but the food on the weekends has just been such a let down that we have stopped eating there. Sorry to pick on the staff but during the week things are usually ok but there appears to be different staff on the weekends and the food has been terrible after a usual long wait. Had an egg and bacon toastie the other day which had two tiny pieces of bacon and the egg was so hard it just crumbled into tasteless nothing. I don't come to this area often, but when I do, I like to visit The Edge for brunch, lunch, or coffee. The restaurant is decorated in a retro/eclectic style and has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is interesting, colorful, and delicious (and it's a good value for the price). The owner is constantly busy but still manages to interact with customers in a sincere and friendly manner. Despite the bustling atmosphere, there is a sense of calm and relaxation. There are plenty of things to see and enjoy while waiting for your meal to be prepared. Do yourselves a favour and checkout this funky cafe/eatery on the fabulous Jetty Rd /Brighton. The food is amazing especially the turkish bread with Chicken/spinachleaves/tomato relish/ cheese toasted Yum !! Their coffee is good too.They have a great selection of healthy eating and their cooked breakfast is so goodLots of seating alfresco and internal. Staff are very friendly and willing to accomodate . Well worth a visit next time youre at Brighton

Visited The Edge again after at least a year. The food is still as good with a variety of healthy meals to suit most needs. Plenty of non conventional seating available which makes The Edge interesting. The Edge could certainly benefit from air conditioning as its quite hot inside and outside in the peak of summer. My friends and I visited early one morning on a Saturday and were seated in the back of the cafe - I loved the decor! It kind of seemed like we had stepped back in time - it was a good change. All 6 of us were happy with our meals which is usually difficult to achieve as there varying food intolerances to meet. I had a really yummy meal and was very happy with the service.

We had a Mother's Day breakfast at edge and my mum has just recently had an operation and found it hard to get around. The staff could not have been lovelier and more accommodating and the food and service was 10/10!
