The Elk Of Hale - Reserva de mesa

I visited the Elk on the evening of 23rd September before going out to a restaurant in the village. On arrival I stood at the bar for 5 minutes without any service, a rude barman then appeared and informed that I had to sit and wait for table service. We waited a further 25 minutes without any service, in that time the one barman walked past our table several times going outdoors for a period of time without any acknowledgement to the fact we had not been served. I appreciate that this is a challenging period for business, I would however strongly recommend visiting another bar if you expect any level of service.

I had a wonderful Saturday night just before Christmas with a group of friends at this charming bar. We sat in a booth near the door, which had plenty of seating and standing space for our large group. The atmosphere was great, and as the night went on, more friends joined us. I always enjoy coming to this place because of the good atmosphere, the friendly staff, especially Alex, and the great music. It was a fun Christmas night out. Thank you to everyone involved.

Good pint selection, fair prices. I’m disappointed that I’ve lived in the area for a this long without going in. The individual screens at each booth are a huge positive for football, too often I’m in a bar and leave with a sore neck trying to get a good view not the case here. Will be making this our go to spot for casual drinks/football now, really impressed. There were some negative reviews on here about wait times at the bar not our experience whatsoever.

This is a fantastic spot to spend your evening! The warm and friendly atmosphere, along with the amazing drinks selection, make it a perfect place to stop by for a pre-dinner drink or to simply relax for the evening. Hale was definitely in need of a bar like this one. Reserva una mesa ahora

£34.50 for a bottle of Prosecco. ****! Second round, ordered a bottle of cava that was advertised on a board as £28.50 and still charged £34.50 as the board ‘needed updating’. Know it’s Hale but this is still an absolute pisstake.

Great place for craft beers and unusual brews. Homely atmosphere with TV’s at each table..... great for a soccer night! The place is always busy but well worth a visit or three! Recommend the Brooklyn Bridge Lager.....epic drink.

Nice, small bar to drink in. Very relaxed. Went with friends for pre dinner drinks and found it enjoyable. Only downside is that they advertise cocktails online but looked at me like I had 3 heads when I tried to order one!

Had a great evening at this restaurant. They have a great selection of Gins. It's a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere. The seating is limited, but they have a room available for hire downstairs. Reserva una mesa ahora

Awesome establishment in the middle of the village big selection of beers, good team and great Guinness! Dog friendly and Fennel loves it!

What a great place. Fantastic food great service. It doesn’t get any better. Looking forward to going again
