Good pint selection, fair prices. I’m disappointed that I’ve lived in the area for a this long without going in. The individual screens at each booth are a huge positive for football, too often I’m in a bar and leave with a sore neck trying to get a good view not the case here. Will be making this our go to spot for casual drinks/football now, really impressed. There were some negative reviews on here about wait times at the bar not our experience whatsoever.
Brilliant bar, staff are lovely, great atmosphere and great drinks, a little pricey but it's well worth the cost. The downstairs is a tad cold in winter but very cosy, the upstairs is well designed and has undergone a perfect refurbishment. This is a very unique bar and in a very quiet but lovely village : I love it here!
£34.50 for a bottle of Prosecco. ****! Second round, ordered a bottle of cava that was advertised on a board as £28.50 and still charged £34.50 as the board ‘needed updating’. Know it’s Hale but this is still an absolute pisstake.

even though quieter than expected, which came into the elk bar had an excellent night the whole round. and with vito the eating bar others the street we have a winning combination for a great night out.
Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Good selection of beer and gin. Great place to meet friends for a drink, very warm and relaxing.
