The Glen - Reserva de mesa

Their fish has too much batter on it and is too greasy. Their fries are way too big and greasy. It's a noisy restaurant. If you're looking for a quiet romantic place this is NOT the place for you.We made reservations and we still had to wait 15 minutes. Not good. The service was slow, our waitress was in her sixties or older, she was working at a snails's pace. Very disappointed. We won't be back. It's not worth the drive out to Kanata to go to this Restaurant. Try Cabotto's if you're in Kanata. Now there's a nice Restaurant and their food is delicious.

The first time I was there they were in Bells Corners - I thought they hand closed but found them last fall now in Stittsville.To be honest I like the Bells Corners place more, it was smaller and more cozy and this place reminds me of the north American notion of a British or Irish pub... be that as it may - the fish and chips were still the best I ave had in Ottawa bar none.

This is the second time I went to the Glen. The first time I had the fish and chips and didn't really like it, but the owner was our server that night and she noticed I didn't eat much and asked about it. I said I wasn't keen on it. She took it off the bill and said to please try them again with a different kind. This time I went back and had a curry. It was delish!

...and not for the better. I ordered the fish and chips and was very disappointed. In fact it was the worst fish & chips I've had in a long time. The fish and batter was too moist... even the chips were dry and tasted like they were cooked yesterday and warmed up. Their are better fish & chips restaurants in the Ottawa area. Great atmosphere , a Scottish pub at its best. We go for fish & chips mostly but they have an excellent pub menu. The service is friendly and consistent as is the quality of the food. Highly recommended for good food and a casual, friendly atmosphere.

The Glen is our default place to go for dinner. The food and service are always excellent. I have tried many of their offerings (even haggis!) and have never been disappointed.

My friends all go there for the fish and chips and like it . I went a few times to participate . Food was ok dinning was fine . It is a pub and the service was good
