Visiting from Hawaii to see family and this place was recommended. Sat down right away, decided what we wanted and the waitress was the the most rude person we met on this trip. Her name was Illuminada and not sure if she was having a bad morning or life, but terrible attitude. She acted like we were supposed to know what everything was. Ofc we had question and she acted like our questions were stupid. We were going to just leave, but figured why should we inconvience ourselves for her attitude. In July '23, I enjoyed a family breakfast on the outdoor patio. My wife and son opted for a classic breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. The sourdough toast was fantastic, but the potatoes were rather bland and could use more seasoning, although they have potential. As for me, I chose the breakfast burrito, which turned out to be quite disappointing. It was basically an unseasoned omelet wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla—really? No cheese, bacon, jalapeños, or salsa, just a dry tortilla. Overall, I found the meal to be very lackluster. The basic breakfast plate is decent, but everything could definitely benefit from some salt.
Made a reservation online while on our way. Parking was a pain, plus it was snow/sleet/raining. Probably didn't need a reservation but had heard it could be busy. So many choices.... I got a Western omelet. At the table, we also had the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes and the Big Rig combo (2 eggs, sausage, bacon toast. All the egg meals come with delicious red bliss hash browns and toast. Service was fast and very attentive, the food was amazing. Had to get to-go containers! Thought there would be more Grateful Dead memorabilia decor ?? Will definitely go back!!
The lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes were very sweet. Definitely tasty but more like a dessert than a breakfast. The Grateful breakfast sandwich was generously portioned and the start was the bread. Neither the brie nor the fig were discernable, but the bacon was good.Parking: Public lot nearby free

True diner style atmosphere with delicious food, friendly, speedy service, and great prices. I had the lemon blueberry pancakes and my partner had one of the combo meals. All of the food came out quickly even though the diner was packed because of the holiday.
Came here for Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day 2021 with my mother and got seated right away. Everyone is great and so is the food. Got the Scramblin' Man and it was very tasty. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area!
Good diner with great breakfast. We ordered the omlette and California sandwich. Food tasted good. The staff were friendly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating open. Outdoor dining is good un summer as they have canopy.
I am a huge fan of this place. Have been a Dedham resident for years and wish I went sooner. If you want a great no nonsense diner with a huge menu, this is the spot. Great prices, great staff, great food. A+

Stopped here for a brunch after our friend ran the James Joyce Rambler. Food was good and came put quickly. Our server was kind and friendly and we enjoyed our meal!
