The Great Wall Chinese

The end of an era in the San Fernando Valley. The Great Wall has been one of my favorite places to eat since the 1980's for it's classic Mandarin food and beautiful interior decor. Now there are new owners. Old, familiar faces are gone. I really miss the old staff who were there when I was 18 and who for over 30 years had aged gracefully along with me. They lent a sense of permanence that was unique and very special. Quality of food is still excellent but things have changed. No lunch specials on Saturday, no free candied apple. This place is very overpriced sorry to say that the food wasn?t that great. The Chow Mein was very dry and very small portion on the plate. I asked if there was more coming and she said no do you want to buy more, also she brought me a fountain drink and directly said no refills very rude! Not coming back here again and not recommending anyone here.. The place was very empty, we were the only customers there, I can see why!!!the food seems old and overpriced and they have horrible customer service!

20 years I went every month with my family for lunch or dinner and it was the perfect Chinese restaurant. But until today I was disappointed and never back again. Since the replacement of property and its desire the food sucks the restaurant dirty and the prices very high. It's not a dimm. I don't recommend anyone to go there.

when they drive down the sherman too fast, they'll miss out on this Chinese restaurant. it is a traditional Chinese restaurant. you are rolling.

a friend has recommended this place some time ago. with covid, I was not sure if it had survived, but we called and they came and accepted.

If I can give a negative star, I would definitely be! I have just left the mum of a place they make up, $72 for a supper, a magnolic bark.
