The landlady and landlords are incredibly friendly, and the pub's location is convenient to the town center and high street. On the first Sunday of each month, there’s a car boot sale, weather permitting, starting at 11 am. It's just £10 per pitch, with all proceeds going to charity. This could become a fantastic car boot or market once more people find out about it.

I visited the Grey Horse with a group of about 20 elderly guests for an Afternoon Tea event. I learned that this was a new initiative for the Grey Horse, and it turned out to be quite popular with everyone. We enjoyed a selection of fresh treats, which were well-presented, all in a welcoming atmosphere. The event took place in the late morning.

The best Holt's pub is the Greyhorse. I've been to 15 Holt's pubs, and this one is by far the best. The Trailblazer Stout is superior to Guinness, and the staff is excellent.
