The Himalayan Kitchen

When we came here a few years back the food was mediocre, but apparently the chef/owner was back in Nepal at the time. This time it was really excellent, spicy for me, and nice tandoori chicken for the wife. It still feel a bit weird to be served by children, and it does have an effect on the efficiency. However, the place has a lot of charm, is atmospheric, and we're really glad it's here!

Visited this restaurant recently and was pleasently surprised. Busy for a Monday night and received very good service. Menu gave you a good selection of curries. Drinks list of wines and beers was well priced. Two beers from Nepal which matched the food well. Try the Mustang Lager. Play the singing prayer bowls its fun.Will visit this site again when I am in Adelaide next time.

Our family with 2 young children had a great evening. They open at 5pm which is perfect when the kids need to be in bed by 7pm. The choices on the menu offer something for everyone and wee enjoyed by all of us. The kids were also allowed to try the various musical instruments they have in the restaurant, even the 4 metre long horn, which was great fun! Highly recommended.

Our waitress was very lovely and accommodating. We enjoyed an entree but our main had quite tough meat, we were expecting it to be nice and tender. Delicious bread, and the singing bowls are a treat.

simple but excellent cuisine. Very friendly service. Simple but neat decor. Map well supplied, choice.
