First time in the area. Heard a few great things about this place so we decided to stop by for lunch. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is beautiful. Old world meets new. Took a tour of the place. Beautiful party room in the back and a nice outside patio. Service was excellent. Chris our waiter was great! We started with the French Onion Soup which blew my mind! Absolutely delicious, nice Caramelization of the cheese. See pic) Wedge salad … now I don’t like blue cheese but this place had the absolute best blue cheese dressing home made) that I have ever had. Hidden little gem . We Sat in the courtyard in the sun.. the homestead salad was huge and really good. Loved the baked clams..it contained the whole clam not just a bread filler the ahituna tartar looked amazing but i didnt eat it im not a fish gal). The lobster bisque wasnt anything to write home about. There were no pices of lobster in it...Nor the taste of sherry. The things i look for in a lobster bisque.. i had the crab stuffed shrimp with crispy rissota patty. They were ok but not much crab meat in them .i wasnt impressed with risotto it tasted kind of starchy or pasty.. but thats just my opinion. Salmon was cooked well but it had the nuts on top not necessarily crusted. unfortunately...

My fiancé and I had a fantastic time at the restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy, even at the outdoor tables. The food was outstanding (you definitely have to try the mussels), and the service was exceptional, especially considering it was our waitress Stephanie's first night. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. The highlight of the evening was the live music, which added an extra touch of perfection to our experience. A big shoutout to the Bob-Tony Trio!

The giant pretzel was outstanding—nice and warm, soft, and delicious! This restaurant is located just off the main strip in Oyster Bay, where you'll find plenty of shops and eateries to explore. The food was great, and the interior is filled with history and beautifully maintained. We had lunch there, but I suspect it gets livelier in the evening. I've been to the homestead on multiple different occasions and have really enjoyed their food and hospitality. Recently this past weekend I was there with 14 people that we had made reservations for on a Sunday afternoon. Food is very well prepared, service was really quick and courteous and I highly recommend this place

My daughter recently held her bridal shower at The Homestead, and everything was fantastic. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive. I received numerous compliments from the guests, and I highly recommend this venue!

Lisa was fabulous and the calamari was even more fabulous. I was very surprised to have such great tasting food at a restaurant/bar. Diego was very nice as well. Beer was cold, food was tasty, what more can you ask for. Would highly recommend. Will be back soon.

I'm was there a few months ago, the service and the food was simply and slowly. But now! Everything was really good, amazing. I'm hungarian guy, the burger not my food, but I really enjoyed every bite . Thank you Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was surprisingly tasty (no offense intended), and the server was both attentive and professional. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.

Just had my daughter’s bridal shower at The Homestead. The room, the food, the staff all amazing. I received so many compliments from attendees I highly recommend them!
