As ever, the food and setting of The Idle Rocks was as great as ever this is now the sixth time we have eaten there. The service was not as great as ever and maybe that is due to the current challenges we are all experiencing. Our booking had been lost, there were no steak knives (three out of four of our party had steak), our drinks were spilt when being served and there was no bread. The main waiter was great and all the other staff were very good, but a lot of new faces and maybe still training. Table, drinks and food were great though and does not put us off going again, just not quite as polished as visits before very high standard they've set. Idyllic location with excellent service. We felt the menu was slightly limited, but the food was delicious. 10 out of 10 for decor!
