During my recent business trip to the National Harbor, I took the opportunity to dine at The Irish Whisper for lunch. As an appetizer, I opted for the Buffalo wings with ranch dressing, which were exceptionally delectable. For my main course, I savored the Fish Chips, a classic dish executed to perfection. Both dishes were truly remarkable, and the service provided was impeccable. I highly recommend this establishment and eagerly anticipate my next visit.
I've enjoyed many restaurants in National Harbor but my very best experience occurred at The Irish Whisper. I enjoyed a great conversation with the bartender while waiting for my to-go order and could tell that the pub is welcoming to both locals and visitors. After an unfortunate incident outside of the pub the kindness made a terrible Tuesday into a terrific one. Cannot recommend enough!
Chef Richard did awesome on the fish n chips with a great assist from Ronnnie on some off the chain fries. Jay took great care of our stouts and bitters. Jay has a true authentic pour on the stout. Took me back to the London pubs of my youth. Absolutely recommend the you DON'T MISS THIS PUB!!!!!

I was disappointed tonight. I'm thankful this place is open late since I live nearby and occasionally need a late-night drink. However, I suspect they're watering down their drinks. I paid $30 for two double gin and tonics that were incredibly weak. This place used to be worth it in the past.
Not bad! One of the few places that was open fairly late for dinner on a weeknight. It is small and has that Irish Pub look, but I was very confused about the music...I was expecting some Irish tunes but it was like Spice Girls and regular pop.
Top five best burgers I’ve ever had. SOOO GOOD! Cool atmosphere.My only complaint, and it’s a minor one, is that the open door and windows meant that there were more bugs flying about than I’d like.But even so, I’d come back.
A big shout out to our cooks, Richard and Ronnie, as well as our waitstaff, Jay and Tyler! Our family had a fantastic experience with the fish and chips. Make sure to stop by National Harbor – you won't want to miss it!

Hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Compliments to Chef Richard and Ronnie! The bar and wait staff was very friendly and made such a good experience. Thank you Jay and Tyler!
Stopped in for a quick bite before heading back to PA. Had the fried chicken sandwich, Shepherds pie and Reuben rolls. Simply amazing!
