I simply don 't write reviews unless a venue truly deserves it...and this one certainly does. A pre christmas family meal for 5 covering 3 generations so like any good father of a troublesome 2 year old...I did my menu research and knew before we arrived what we were going to devour. I have an addiction to anything with the words 'honey roasted ' in the title and the carrots took no exception to this rule whilst I was salivating over the elegant depiction of the lamb shank and its vegetable ensemble. Starters arrived with the wine. The Rioja tasted like silk and my tomato soup was perfect. All seemed fine and cozy with just enough elegance from the venue and its surroundings to make it feel...

Our group of nine was in need of food on Christmas Eve afternoon, but the first pub we tried was unable to accommodate us. We sent my son up the road to the Lambley, and they welcomed us with the condition that we finish our meal by 5 PM. It was 3:45 PM at that time. The service was outstanding, the staff was fantastic, and the food was excellent. We managed to finish by 5 PM, and I want to commend the lady in charge for her exemplary service and for going out of her way to serve us despite having a tight schedule. Returned to the Lambley for the second time yesterday with my wife daughter son in law and grandchildren and all had great meals and drinks the staff were once again very polite and checked all the things we asked for was greeted by the landlady and shown to our table I definitely recommend the mixed grill and my grandson (9yrs old) had a fillet steak and ate the lot he said it was delicious well worth the trip once again I'm sure we will return in the future

Not sure what’s changed but went for a Sunday roast yesterday and it was terrible, bland, chewy meat and clearly not fresh felt like a school dinner. Not worth £15. The last time I went a few months ago was great, something must have changed. Our whole party said the same as well as someone else I spoke too about their recent experience. What a friendly family restaurant pub my wife and I took our adult Downs Syndrome friend for Saturday lunch. The food was very good and value for money. Staff were all good and the landlady was absolutely superb engaging, amusing and treated our friend with great respect and care. Thank you for making us all feel so comfortable.

The food was served quickly, fresh, and piping hot. The portions were generous, and everything was absolutely delicious, all enjoyed in a lovely atmosphere. The staff were attentive and made our annual gathering feel special. We've found a new place to continue our traditions, and we left feeling truly welcome. Thank you!

Found a hair in one of the sandwiches, I was eating at the wake I was attending. The young staff are very friendly, and work very hard, given the amount of people and the busy bar. It's Unfortunate the link to MR Belfield, has some what tarnished the reputation of The Lambley.

Ummm!!! Food was good, staff friendly, had a feeling of the business being tired!!! Times are really difficult in hospitality right now, but left feeling like the business needs to inject some positive vibes!!! Ps that's the business not the great staff!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

On entering the pub the staff were rude and we were told that babies aren’t allowed in the bar when other babies were clearly at the bar. Then we were told dogs aren’t allowed in the restaurant. No apology or empathy just basically told to leave

The staff were incredibly friendly. While there wasn't a lot of hot food available—which is understandable since it was a New Year's Day bank holiday—they went above and beyond to make sure we had something to eat. It's a great pub!
