The Love - Reservar una mesa

I would recommend The Love to a friend w/ a few reservations. The cocktails were delicious; the service was great. Unfortunately, the roasted potatoes that accompanied my omelet were dry and overcooked. The vegetable omelet itself was well cooked, the veggies inside crisp tender. I appreciated the addition of a Boursin-type creamy cheese inside, will be using that in my omelets at home! It also came with some unnecessary, but nicely dressed, salad greens. My wife ordered the ricotta ravioli and said they were amazing, and they looked wonderful, I was jealous.

The Burratta was amazing! my guest enjoyed the risotto and I had the lemon pancakes. The pancakes were not as lemony as I would have liked, and the sour cherry sauce was much too sweet for my liking, so I ate the pancakes with butter and a dabble of the sauce. With hindsight, I should have asked for Maple syrup. : Overall it was a win!

We love love! Service was excellent, our meals were both excellent, and although the restaurant was full, we could hear both talking. If I have a complaint, and believe me, it's a little, it's that portion sizes were very generous, and I ended up with more than I wanted! Also as Pescatarian they always have a lot of options for me.

Everything from the ambience to the service was top tier. Special thanks to the manager who took our picture and made us feel welcome. Will definitely return.

Always a great meal. I love sitting upstairs. The food and the music. The drinks looked good but I was not drinking that day.
