The owners of this little coffee shop are just so lovely from the moment you walk through the doors. You are greeted by both of them with a very cheery hello and you are asked how you are. Genuine lovely people with scrumptious food on the menu. Be very happy each time we have been there and they pride themselves in customer satisfaction and they remember what you like to order too x . I for one look forward to a visit for 5star service and now a lovely friendship with the owners x Keep being the amazing couple you are xx
Took my car in for new tyres and had some time to burn! Didn't even know this place was there. As clean as a Whistle inside. Great welcome from a smashing couple, who I assume own it and nothing was too much trouble! Opted for a sausage and bacon bap and a tea. The bap was delicious, so was the tea. Recommend this place. I'm going to try the breakfast next time! Hope this place prospers!
The ideal café combines a warm, friendly welcome with excellent service and delicious food. Everything is freshly cooked at The Lunch Box, giving it a restaurant-quality standard of cooking and baking. I frequent this café as often as I can, given its proximity to my shop, and I highly recommend the brie and bacon panini - it is tasty and generously sized.
I was disappointed by the service and presentation of all aspects of this cafe. Cleanliness was not very good. Sauce lids were caked in dried sauce, spilt coffee on cups when presented and no spoon or saucer. Its ashamed as from the decor here it makes it seem like its going to be homely. I just wanted to walk out.

Popped in and had a lovely jacket potato with chilli. It came with salad, beetroot and coleslaw. Presented beautifully! Sausage and bacon roll was great! Service as always came with a genuine smile. Absolutely lovely couple and cafe!
The hosts at this small and clean cafe are delightful! They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The food is delicious, especially the homemade cakes and snacks. Highly recommended!
I recently had one of the best breakfasts in a long time at this restaurant. The service was excellent, very friendly. They were very busy with takeout orders. I will definitely be returning.
Absolutely love this place. I've had breakfast here with my hubby and have been ordering breakfast baguettes for years. Wonderfully fresh and so tasty. Customer service is top notch.
