Most of the food was really great. My signature burger in particular was amazing and all the chips were spot on. My wife's roast was the only slightly disappointing bit, the vegetables, including the roast potatoes were all a bit soft and she said it seemed like it had all probably been sitting around being kept warm for an hour or two, which I guess is very possibly the case with a Sunday roast cooked in large batches and just plated up when needed. Service was also great however and the lady who served us was very helpful and attentive. We'd definitely come again but maybe not specifically for the Sunday roast.

eating, drinking and service were generally very good. the staff was friendly and helpful. the only bad product in our meals was the eton mess. it had the smallest beats of fruit and also the small merangue. in the ground only saw. the rest of the food everyone liked. I had the smart curry I really enjoyed. we would have stayed for coffee in the garden, but there were no kisses on the places, so we went to the house for a more relaxed coffee. a beautiful meal in a happy environment. I'll be back.
We had dinner with a party of 7 people. The food was great apart from the chewy chicken but they only brought out 6 main dishes. When asked about the 7th they said it would be out any moment. This was repeated several times and it lasted for over 30 minutes. No excuses, just reasons that were not related to us. It resulted in 6 mains being cold and the appetite was gone. No resolution from the manager either. Questionable why these people work in the hospitality industry.
The main courses were excellent we had both salads and REALLY enjoyed them fresh, tasty and just right in terms of size. The service was good too (though a little slow) everyone we spoke with was accommodating, friendly, professional and polite. We had mini dessert and drinks and enjoyed them, though personally, there was too much cream in the Eton mess for my taste I'm glad I didn't have the full dessert. I also appreciated the inclusion of calorie details on the menu Reserva una mesa ahora
the marsh harrier is a warm, clean and welcoming place. the personal is beautiful and the menu is diverse and interesting. we didn't wait for something and the whole visit was very pleasant. everything we chose from the menu was available and everything was delicious. my only criticism is that I suspect that my dessert (orchard tart) had paid a visit in the microwave; the baked was soft and a bit hard, but not enough to make it disappointing.
we have often passed here without stopping, but yesterday we have finally done it and I would say it was a good choice. jennifer welcomed us with a smile and, although we had not booked, she immediately made herself available to find us a table. we ordered two Sundays roasts, accompanied by local beer and apfelwein. all very good, fair portions and honest prizes. we will definitely be back.
I can't fault the food, however, the service was very, very slow. No-one seemed to want to take our order. The wait between courses was ridiculous. The restaurant wasn't remotely busy yet we were kept waiting so long, until it was time to pay, then the waitress turned up immediately. Probably wouldn't recommend as the service was not what I would expect.
The waiting bar staff are great Verity outstanding. Food Below edible cabbage brown and dry puff pastry on chicken pie soft and not cooked in hot enough oven. Will not be back just yet training in cooking skills needed. Reserva una mesa ahora
Been many times before and had great food, this time food was dreadful, chewy lamb overdone steaks!! Starter of scallops was on top of cold mushy peas, bacon not crispy very poor. Would not return anytime soon.
