The best good pub around. We love to visit the Melton for our hangover cure on a Saturday lunch time. The staff are always so lovely and friendly and go out of their way to help. Especially Sophie. They have a brilliant Gluten Free menu which is the best I’ve seen in a pub before. The food is home cooked and gorgeous. Would highly recommend you try it. Great for couples, families and small parties too.
Great choice of classics, but for me as vegetarian too! The stuff is really friendly and elastic when you want to swap anything in your food, which is freshly made and delicious. Great conservatory with the river view is additional benefit We are coming often, and definitely will be back soon : Vegetarian options: i chose great broccoli with melted cheese in breadcrumbs. We always love the food here, especially the chips. However, tonight they were quite different. It seems like they were cooked with their skins on, but they had numerous black marks and lacked flavor. I'm not sure if you’ve changed your cooking method or the brand you use, but please bring back those delicious double-cooked, crispy brown chips! Price per person: £10–20.
