This restaurant is located in a beautiful residential area and is a spacious pub with a wide variety of beers at reasonable prices. I attended a private function on the upper floor but ventured down to the bar area where a DJ was playing. The clientele is mature and very friendly, adding to the charm of the place. I learned that this pub is popular among fans of the local sports team, making it a great spot for pre- and post-game drinks. I would definitely recommend stopping by this pub if I were in town again. Street parking is readily available, although it may be busier during peak hours.
Absolutely disgusted at this sunday dinner for Yes, I asked for it without the meat but asked for cauliflower cheese instead....I was told I had to pay extra even though I didnt want the meat. The roast potatoes were rock solid and obviously been...re-fried/re-heated and they were clearly dropped from the deep fat fryer basket straight onto the plate. In total I paid for this plate of food and the cauliflower cheese was cold and the sauce was very watery. Would not eat here again.
This pub was amazing. The staff, including the new manager Steph, were all very welcoming. The pub is well-decorated with plenty of seating options for both private gatherings and watching sports. The food was delicious, especially the burger I ordered which was perfectly cooked. The prices were very reasonable as well. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're a fan of pubs. Kudos to the entire team for a job well done.

Today, for Father's Day, I went to this restaurant and had a great experience. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Sharon and Steff were incredibly welcoming and even treated us to complimentary whisky. This is a wonderful place to gather with family or friends for a meal and drinks. The decor is lovely, as the restaurant was recently renovated. I would give it 5 stars.
The Melville is a great place for a Sunday dinner or a good cheap dinner. I went here today for a roast dinner with my mum brother. Me my Mum had the veggie nut roast which was delicious and we were given a...good portion. My brother didn't have a roast dinner but said he really enjoyed his Cheese Bacon burger. Staff were friendly and attentive towards us and the place had a nice atmosphere.
The mid week meal offers are well worth the money ,great quality. Very clean tables and comfy seats.
have been sitting here with friends for lunch. all mealtimes looked good and for a fair price.
