My name is Ema Phillips, and for the first time since got took over by Lisa and Simon and lockdowns been over went into the Melville ! What a beautiful amazing time I had the staff are so friendly and nice Tracey and Michelle. But...Lisa and Simon are wonderful people who have this pub on the rise they are totally wonderful people who have the heart of the pub on there minds. They go above and beyond to make sure the customers are well looked after while making sure all rules and regulations are there highest priority for there pub! Hired the small function room downstairs for family and friends to gather after two of the little girls made their first Holy communion. This room was ideal, and the organising of the event was very smooth. The food came out when we requested it and...was very tasty. The pie was a hit!! Would highly recommend for events in future. Bar staff are very friendly and accommodating. Quite a few children in our party and they kept themselves entertained. I'm sure we'll all be back soon. Thank you Melville.

Absolutely disgusted at this sunday dinner for Yes, I asked for it without the meat but asked for cauliflower cheese instead....I was told I had to pay extra even though I didnt want the meat. The roast potatoes were rock solid and obviously been...re-fried/re-heated and they were clearly dropped from the deep fat fryer basket straight onto the plate. In total I paid for this plate of food and the cauliflower cheese was cold and the sauce was very watery. Would not eat here again.

The Melville is a great place for a Sunday dinner or a good cheap dinner. I went here today for a roast dinner with my mum brother. Me my Mum had the veggie nut roast which was delicious and we were given a...good portion. My brother didn't have a roast dinner but said he really enjoyed his Cheese Bacon burger. A warm welcome and good food from the staff of The Melville Pub a place our family have visited many times over years. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Helpful, discussed our family wishes for our farewell to a loved one. Food...was delicious, hot and served to guests by friendly, caring staff. Many many thanks, we will return to enjoy the warm atmosphere again.

We were looking for a decent pub near the Trafford Centre and used TA to find this little gem of a pub. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Very reasonably priced and the food was high quality and well presented. Would...recommend and will call again.

I've been twice for food with the family in the last week. On both occasions the food was fantastic. The cheese and onion pie was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Pros large pub lots of seating standard pub food (burgers, pies etc) reasonably priced friendly staff Cons it’s not gourmet food but it does the job

The mid week meal offers are well worth the money ,great quality. Very clean tables and comfy seats.
