The New Fairlop Oak

First time I've eaten in a weatherspoon and was pleasantly surprised. Only had a simple meal, jacket potato with Tuna Mayo and salad and friend had a bowl of chips. The jacket was a,fair size with plenty of Tuna and a nicely presented salad and the plate of chips was huge and they looked really good, nice colour and crispy. A drink was included with both and the bill was very reasonable. Staff were very welcoming. My only criticism would be the diet coke which was quite syrupy and went flat quite quickly but I eould visit again.

Very nice pub always good affordable food, fairly safe place with security at the door a never seen any bad environment there is always a pleasant place to visit, many outdoors beautifully decorated staff is very friendly and helpful and fast on your orders they work really hard and earn credit to keep the place to good standards. One of my favorite places in the area. Thank you very much!

Great place for family and friends, good food and always great value. Very clean and tidy, very well presented. Lost one star as seemed staff were looking after a little girl who kept running around with constant high-pitched squealing that was not appreciated by diners, which staff seemed quite oblivious to.

I hadn't visited in a long time, and I was pleased to find a blend of the original pub architecture with a bright, open atmosphere. They offer a great selection of beers, which was a nice surprise. The service was prompt, and it was quite busy for a weekday lunch, mostly with an older crowd.

I live near by and perfect for a bite to eat and a drink with a friend. So reasonably priced too. The only thing is they do not allow dogs in the beer garden and it would be nice if they did but other than that a great little pub to have at the end of the high street.

EXCELLENT, a very well run Wetherspoon pub. Ordered a curry ... WOW, a huge, but fair portion of Roasted Veg ... Mango Sauce and even fresh coriander complimenting my curry fantastically. Been looking for this Wetherspoon Pub for some time!!! Well done.

The beer and food are great. However, older patrons should be cautious, as all the entrances have fairly high steps. It’s not very accessible, considering it's an older building.

The taste of lemon and herbal chicken is absolutely delicious, and the chips. The best I ever had! The atmosphere is excellent, staff very friendly. Love this place, thank you
