Chef Franco is deservedly proud of this location - well, it's a very cute historical building and old schoolrooms are no longer scary. We arranged a casual salad and pasta meal for a group 30 - 40 walkers of an evening.No staff were required as we were to help ourselves to a salad and pasta.What a dissapointment.The salads for 4 to share were an amount hardly sufficient for one.The Pasta (A food that is cheap and easy to make) was even worse. Not only were there two, and not the three pastas discussed, but these consisted of one flat pan each.We paid the agreed price which left a bad taste in everyone's mouths.$860.00 for two trays of pasta and a bit of salad was NOT in the spirit of the agreement and was miserly, to say the least.We have this type of meal on a weekly basis and this pathetic effort was the very worst that w...
One of my locals that I have eaten at many times. Family owned and run, the service is friendly and food is of good quality.I have never had a bad meal here, always consistent and having been around for a very long time stand a testament to the fact this place must be doing things right.This evening I had the Fiorentina a 1 kg T Bone. Too much for me to finish but beautifully cooked finished with some herbs and lemon.Tiramisu is very nice as was the bruschetta and anti pasta plate
This little restaurant is a lovely old school house with great italian food a little pricey but worth it. The staff are great and helpful. I had beef with creamy mushroom sauce with vegetables. Shared a bruschetta. Had a mango tiamasu which was different and coffee topped of with a lemon liquor and chocolates.Had a little trouble parking in council car park as it was full.

Table of six, and we all had steak. I had an eye fillet with mushrooms. Ordered medium rare, but it came more done. The quality of the steak was good, and there were no other complaints from the table. Service was excellent and we were looked after well. Was really good to see the owner and chef walking the floor to see if everything was good.
A real restaurant with good food and large portions. Family run with the chef making rounds to check on satisfaction. Very good ambience and helpful attentive service. A nice feel, good venue for families or to entertain guests. Excellent prawns entree and tiramisu dessert. Good menu, though more interesting specials would be appreciated.
Great food, very friendly staff, Franco the chef recommended the fritto misto, it was excellent and the waitress recommended the tiramisu, made by the chef's wife, it was so fresh and great coffee flavours.
Great food! Been here several times over lots of years! Franco is the best, great chef! Pina gives her beautiful friendly service always! They go together so well just like their great food and wine!

Called for takeaway and were too busy. Hung up in my ear -- lost me for other group visits-- forgot about customer service, plenty of other places to visit.
Authentic Tuscan cuisine, served in a beautiful old school house. The food and the service are impeccable !
