I only had breakfast, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the breakfast here is outstanding—definitely the best in Waco. Anyone who complains about it should head to Rocket Café and settle for mediocrity. Here are the highlights:
1. The coffee is excellent—it's not the watered-down, scalding hot stuff you get at Shipley's.
2. The fried chicken biscuit was incredible—the seasoning on the chicken was fantastic.
3. The pancakes were top-notch, served with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream.
4. The sausage came in clearly handmade patties and had a nice kick, so just a heads-up on that.
5. The service was friendly but not over the top.

I had the chicken salad on croissant bread with sweet potato fries!! It was absolutely amazing!! I love tue atmosphere for a great business lunch with my lender partner! Our host was super sweet and very attentive. She allowed us to chat and eat without being interruptive. Great food, great company, and a wonderful atmosphere!! 10 out of 10!! Parking: During lunch it’s pretty chaotic. Not much parking for all the shops and restaurants downtown.
I am in Waco for work and got surprised with their food wow I ordered brisket skillet ? the brisket was juicy with an incredible smoke flavor , they make the skillet with sweet potatoes tots and the combination of these two ingredient are fire works in your mouth… you will want continue eating even if you are full ..
I returned to this restaurant to celebrate my son's birthday breakfast. I decided to order something I couldn't make at home. Honestly, everything they serve is better than what I can cook, but this dish was especially delightful, featuring fresh vegetables and avocado. It also felt like a healthier option.

Food took 40 min to come out, and when it finally did the grilled cheese was cold. The Cajun pasta was very good, but overall the experience was lacking.
