The Orchard House - Reserva de mesa

My first visit to the Orchard house, and I left far underwhelmed. The first problem was service. We sat for over 10 minutes waiting for a server to pay attention to us. It turned out our server was visiting with friends at the next table and was too busy to care if we had coffee. She did apologize for the wait when she stepped the 4' to our table. She was aware we were there, but just didn't care. The next problem was the food. I ordered simple sausage and eggs and asked for the eggs to be over easy. Over easy eggs to me are whites cooked, with runny yolks. What I got was slightly cooked whites and cold yolks which I refused to eat. The waitress was made aware of the problem, but I was still...

It's quite a drive getting out there but we enjoy it if we get to sit outside. I only wish they'd serve breakfast until 3 since they close at 3 and All other breakfast places that close at 3 let you order anything off the menu until then. So we usually end up elsewhere. Unfortunately the lunch menu doesn't have anything desirable for our diet. So if we can't be seated before 11, we go elsewhere. By the time we get seated breakfast is usually over and they won't make any exceptions. We'd definitely go more if the cutoff time wasn't so strict

NOT TO BE MISSED! This place is out of the way but lovely in every sense! The food is well portioned, fresh, and delicious every time! The service is prompt, professional, and friendly. We stop here every single time we come to visit. Their baked goods are to die for and lunch on the patio is intimate and lovely. There is no better place in Caldwell for a spot of refreshment!!

Ordered finger steaks and fries' The finger steaks were a BIG disappointment. They used to be plump and meaty. Now they are flat and no seasoning. Portion size has gone downhill. 4 skinny pieces as the price has gone up. Fries were OK, but not great. Will not go back. We used to like going there for lunch. Will not recommend them to friends. My husband and I went on a breakfast date here. We each had an omelet and let me tell you, the veggies were so fresh and delicious! It truly tasted like homemade. The service was excellent and I love seeing all the decor for sale. Can't wait to go back!

Nice out of or in the way cafe and bakery. Take a trip out towards Marsing stop and eat a breakfast or lunch then drive a little further to visit Canyon Creek Nursery from there head down the wine country trail. Have a great day tripping.

I absolutely love the Orchard House, every time I have ever been the food is delicious and the service is great, I highly recommend the fish and chips and the French dip, everyone is always so nice and cheerful.
