Total meh on the food. Decent atmosphere. The wines we ordered were great. But most of the entrees were lacking in flavour. The “Roast” options are severely overpriced in terms of quality and the amount of beef you get. The Yorkshire pudding was meh. Octopus (special) was tough and small quantity (mostly bread). Has potential, but I wouldn’t go back I’m afraid.
We had afternoon tea here with great/ friendly service, and very attentive menu guidance, the restaurant has a very good sense of atmosphere, we ordered a cup of lychee sour and an oyster plate, lychee sour is very refreshing which perfectly matching with the hot Sydney afternoon.
Sophie was the most amazing waitress I have ever had. I felt as though she was my best friend even though I had only just met here. She didn’t hesitate to share some jokes and refill our drinks. I would come back any day that she was here just for the service she provided.
5/6th visit and it's consistently great. The Banquet is amazing, as is all the food...I feel sorry for the people who complained below, it's a fantastic place, service, food, music all great! If you like chicken you will love the Paddington! Reserva una mesa ahora
Love this place, always treated well by the great staff but NYE they went above beyond. Thank you once again for your very generous hospitality, you have brought Paddington back from the brink
Super great old-timey atmosphere, food was great, the chicken is pretty big for two! The dressing on the accompanying crunchy leaves were great
