I love this place, & have been here more times than I can count (helps that I live a leisurely 3 min walk away). This is a great little local; a dining room with a fireplace, 2 out door areas, a pool table & it's dog friendly! Need I say more? The menu is what you'd expect at a pub - Parma, burgers, steak etc. Monday night is Parma night $12, Tuesday is $15 lamb or chicken spit (not sure if this still happens), Wednesday is steak night (recently bumped up to $15 but was $12). the chicken wings ($12) are the bomb!! They also have roast chook, mini burgers, lamp chops, fish & chips, usually a curry of some sort, bangers etc & choc fondant or apple pie for dessert (yummm). we have basically eat...

We visited this pub on Easter Monday lunch as a party of 4 and the experience was certainly nothing to rave about. We had 2 chicken parmas and 2 lamb salads which were just ok. The service was basic; nothing special, but I guess that could be expected for a pub environment. The music being played over lunch in the casual dining room, was too loud and too heavy metal - not appropriate and not conducive to conversations / catch up with friends and watching the footy. There were a number of families with children dining in and I guess with such loud music, it drowned out the potential noise being made from the kids.Won't be going back in a hurry.

We came here for a few friends for lunch. Love the outdoor space, the artwork along the walls and the owners making you feel welcome! The meals are all delicious, and such a generous size. The cheese garlic bread is to die for. The public bar is a little grungy but still, the food and wine list makes it worthwhile - and its dog friendly! The resident pooch is gorgeous!!!

A true Melbourne gem. Closest thing to country pub you will find in city. Atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable and always welcoming. Amazing array of IPAs on tap from some terrific (ever changing) boutique brewers. Good pub grub available all day. Pool table, open fires in cooler months and a covered, dog friendly, beer garden. Live music a feature on weekends too. Reserva una mesa ahora

I'll be upfront; we don't drink but we have been to many pubs and eat out a lot. The food here is great; nothing startling but it's the basics done well and with fresh tasting ingredients. The fireplace in winter adds ambience and the staff make you feel welcome. All generations and dogs here :) Live music and AFL on the tv was a plus.

Music was the need we had and having heard this place had music, off we went to discover the offering. It was a two piece gathering, both with guitars and good voices. One of the staff even did a number with them. Sheer delight to my ears. Look forward to going back and taking the dog to the outdoor area with side gate entrance.

We went here on our first night in Melbourne (staying with friends locallly). 3 adults and 2 kids. We had a nice meal, some parms, some pasta, some wine, some more wine, a bit more wine, some jet lag and some games of pool.Cracking pub, good food, nice staff, decent clientelle, enjoyed it!

Dropped in the rehydrate and was surprised by the good selections of craft beers and ciders. Remember there are two reasons to drink... firstly because you are thristy or secondly to prevent thrist. prevention is better cure! Reserva una mesa ahora

Stopped in for lunch with some colleagues for work. Excellent Parma and chips on Monday special for $15 and a nice craft beer selection (I chose a hand drawn chocolate porter which was delicious). Will definitely be back.
